Found myself down by the river and walked through the botanical gardens in the sunshine. So pretty here.

I’ve just had dinner with another Aussie from Dubbo and a very excitable Spanish woman who couldn’t stop talking about the terrifying fires last year. She was totally traumatised even though she lives in town and not really where the fires were. It was so exhausting just watching her waving her arms around and rolling her eyes so passionately. She owns a hotel nearby. It looks amazing.

Great meal, great company and now I’m off to bed.
